Maha Shivratri celebration concludes in Demow

DEMOW: Under the patronage of Raichai Sarbajanin Shiv Mandir Managing Committee and Shiv Ratri and Bhaona Organizing Committee, Sri Sri Maha Shivratri celebration started from Monday for three days in the Raichai Sri Sri Shiv Mandir premises.

On Wednesday, the programme started with a cleanliness drive which was followed by Bhagawat Bharamon. After that the Bhagawat was set up. Naam prasanga was started. In the afternoon, prasad was distributed among the devotees. In the evening, Ekaloibhyai Guru Dakshina and Maatshaw Abatar bhaonas were performed by the local children and youths.

Ekaloibhyai Guru Dakshina bhaona was inaugurated by Sushanta Borgohain, MLA of Thowra Constituency, and Maatshaw Abatar bhaona was inaugurated by Kushal Dowari, Chairman Urban Water Supply and Sewerage Board.
