Mahashivaratri Celebrated in Kokrajhar

Gossaigaon: Maha Shivaratri was celebrated with gaiety and fervour in Gossaigaon subdivision of Kokrajhar district with devotees taking out processions to mark the occasion. There was a huge rush of devotees in temples to offer prayers to Lord Shiva. Elaborate arrangements had been made in Dawaguri Temple for security and crowd management by the mandir committee. A special vishwa shanti yagya was also organized here for world peace. SDO civil Gossaigaon, Circle Officer and hundreds of devotees participated in the yagya.
