Mangaldai girls take part in Fit India Freedom Run
As a part of a countrywide glorious celebration of the 75th Independence Day, Girls cadets of NCC of Mangaldai College

MANGALDAI: As a part of a countrywide glorious celebration of the 75th Independence Day, Girls cadets of NCC of Mangaldai College under 73 Assam Girls (I) Company in the early hours of Saturday took part in 'Fit India Freedom Run' led by ANO Major (Dr) Leena Saikia covering several areas of Mangaldai. The girl cadets earlier took part in a Digital Post Card/ Poster competition on the Preamble of India followed by a Statue Cleaning activity and cleaned the statue of Mahatma Gandhi on the campus of the office of DC, Darrang.
Significantly the Girls cadets of NCC Mangaldai College under 73 Assam Girls (I) Company of NCC, Tezpur have been able to win different awards and scholarships. This year, Cadet Dharitri Nath has been awarded CWS scholarship and while Cadet Hiya Devi bagged the award of 2nd Best Cadet.
