Mariani Press Club celebrates silver jubilee in Jorhat

JORHAT: The year-long concluding silver jubilee programme of Mariani Press Club was held on Saturday at Mahadev Agarwala School playground at Mariani in Jorhat. The meeting inaugurated by Jarir Husain, managing editor of News live, which was presided over by Ranjit Gohain Baruah, former president of the Mariani Press Club, anchored by Dibyjyoti Saikia secretary of Mariani Press Club. Revenue Minister Jogen Mohan delivered his speech as a chief guest. Rajya Sabha MP Kamakhya Prasad Tasa, local MLA Rupjyoti Kurmi, Dilip Mahanta, executive editor, of Dainik Asom, senior journalist Navajyoti Baruah, Devajit Baruah and other dignitaries were present.
