Mass marriage of 51 couples solemnized at Gyandayini Temple, Dibrugarh

DIBRUGARH: A total of 51 couples tied the nuptial knots in a mass wedding ceremony at the Gyandayini Temple premises of Dibrugarh yesterday.

The mass wedding was organised by the Marwari Yuva Manch, Dibrugarh Pragati Shakha and Dharmajagaran & Samanvay Asom in association with the Gyandayini Sabha.

Kaushal Bawari, president of the mass wedding ceremony informed the press that this mass ceremony was envisaged to benefit people who cannot invest elaborately on their wedding. All the Hindu wedding rites and rituals had been observed while conducting the mass marriages.
