Massive hailstorm causes several damage in Dibrugarh

DIBRUGARH: Massive hailstorm has caused several damages in Dibrugarh on Tuesday evening. A massive hailstorm hit Dibrugarh at around 5:30pm on Tuesday evening. Many big trees and electric lines were uprooted in Dibrugarh district due to the heavy hailstorm. “Hailstorm has become common in Dibrugarh. Within few days, we have witnessed two massive hailstorms in Dibrugarh. Many trees and electric lines were uprooted in some areas of the district causing extensive damage,” said an official. Meanwhile, power lines has been snapped in Dibrugarh due to the massive hailstorm which has struck the city.
