DEMOW: The members of Medecins Sans Frontieres India (MSFI), an NGO, came to the Demow Model Hospital-cum-CHC in Demow Raichai Konwar Dehingia and handed over six oxygen concentrators (10 litres) with all necessary accessories to Dr.Surajit Giri, anesthesia specialist of Demow Model Hospital, and Dr.Dandeswar Deori, Deputy Superintendent of Demow CHC, in the presence of the staff of Demow Model Hospital-cum-CHC on Friday.

Medecins Sans Frontieres India (MSFI) also offered a basic life saving ambulance to facilitate the transport of COVID patients referred to tertiary-level health care facility to Assam Medical College and Hospital (AMCH) for a period of one month and according to necessity, the period of ambulance facility will be increased. This ambulance service will be available 24X7 for free. Medecins Sans Frontieres India (MSFI) will bear the cost of fuel, refuelling of oxygen cylinders and rent of the vehicle.

In the programme, Dr.Arshad Hussain, Project Coordinator of Medecins Sans Frontieres India (MSFI), along with the officials of MSFI, staff of Demow Model Hospital-cum-CHC along with the media persons of Demow were present.
