Mediaperson tests COVID-19 positive in Demow

DEMOW: A media person of Demow tested positive for COVID-19 on Wednesday. According to sources, Shekhar Jyoti Dowari, a local media person of Demow, went for a Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) at the COVID-19 district screening centre at Bhalukaguri near Demow on Wednesday and he tested positive. He was shifted to the Sivasagar Old Model Hospital COVID Care Centre (CCC) for treatment. The district administration has declared the residence of Shekhar Jyoti Dowari in Demow Lachit Nagar as containment area.
