BAKSA: Continuing its effort to reach out to the people of the remote villages of Assam, a unit of the Red Horns Division of the Indian Army under the flagship of 'Operation Sadbhavna' conducted a Medical and Veterinary Aid Camp at Village Pathakpur in Udalguri district on Sunday.

To reach out and deliver basic essential medical care to impoverished and poverty-stricken populations of lower Assam, the Medical and Veterinary Camp was conducted with the assistance of the Udalguri Health Department.

The masses reacted positively to the collaborative efforts of the Army and civil doctors and nursing staff. The response to the camp was overwhelming, and over 800 locals and 260 Cattle were provided medical aid during the camp.

The aim of the event was to give better medical aid to the local population and assist people whose primary source of income is cattle farming through Medical and Veterinary camp. This initiative of the Army, keeping the COVID-19 protocols in mind, was lauded by one and all.
