Meet held on flood preparedness at Conference Hall of SDO office
Bilasipara: A meeting was held at the conference hall of the SDO(Civil) office Bilasipara regarding discussion on measures to be taken during flood and other natural calamities during the ensuing monsoon, stated a press release. The meeting was presided over by the SDO(Civil) of Bilasipara Mridul Yadav and all the Circle officers, Election officer, Asstt. Commissioners and the Heads of all the Deptts. attended the meeting. In the meeting, the SDO(Civil) asked all the Heads of the Departments to submit their contingency plans and asked all the circle officers to form committees with Lot Mondals, volunteers etc. to make necessary arrangement for relief plans. The SDO(Civil) ordered the Veterinary departments to take necessary measures to make the estimate of the no. of livestock, cattle etc. The SDO(Civil) also ordered the veterinary department to be ready along with the NDRF team to rescue animals during floods.
