Meet held to take stock of works under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana in Dibrugarh

Dibrugarh: Under the presidentship of DC Pallav Gopal Jha, a meeting was held on Wednesday to take stock of the progress of various works being carried out under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Rural) and Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA) by the Rural Development Department. Reviewing each of the works being carried out under MGNREGA, Jha made an appeal to arrive at the predetermined targets by March. Expressing displeasure over the slow progress of work in developmental blocks like Lahoal, Tengakhat, and Tingkhong, Jha ordered the BDOs of the places to prepare a plan of action to complete the pending tasks within a week and submit the same. Works going on under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Rural) were also directed to be completed by the month of March.
