BISWANATH CHARIALI: A meeting was held on the development of tea garden managed schools under Biswanath and Gohpur subdivisions on Monday with Parliamentarian Pallab Lochan Das in the chair. The meeting had a thorough discussion on the important issues being faced by around 42 tea garden managed lower primary schools under the two subdivisions in Sonitpur district.

Presiding over the meeting, Parliamentarian Pallab Lochan Das commented that primary education is the key to building the future life of children, hence it is very much essential to give priority to fulfil the educational needs of them. The present State government has given much importance to it and therefore it has decided to appoint teachers and also to provide other basic amenities in the tea garden schools, he added.
