Meeting Held On Child Health Organized By National Commission for Protection of Child Rights

Morigaon: A one-day consultation-cum-review meeting on available schemes and services for malnourished and stunted children in high prevalent districts of Assam with special reference to Morigaon district was organized by the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights in collaboration with Assam State Commission for Protection of Child Rights and Association for Social Health in India at Morigaon on Saturday.

The programme was inaugurated by Paresh Sah, senior technical expert, NCPCR, Delhi. Debajit Bora of the district social-welfare presented a report on the present status of the PMMVY scheme and Poshan Abhiyaan in presence of DC Rituraj Bora.

On the other hand, Dr Sahinur Rahman and Kajori Cetiya delivered speeches on malnourished and stunted children in the meeting. More then 200 employees from various departments took part in the programme.
