Mega COVID-19 vaccination drive on September 17 in Lakhimpur district

LAKHIMPUR: Along with the rest of the State, a mega COVID-19 vaccination drive is being organized in Lakhimpur district on September 17. On that day, over 27,000 people are targeted to be inoculated with COVID-19 vaccine across the district. For this purpose, more than 100 session sites have been set up under the auspices of the District Health Department.

The district administration and the District Health Department have called upon the people of the district above 18 years, who have still not been vaccinated, to get themselves vaccinated on that day. Moreover, the people who got themselves vaccinated with the first dose of Covishield before June 23, can inoculate the second dose of the same vaccine on that day. Similarly, the people, who took the first dose of Covaxin 28 days back, can also get the second dose of the vaccine administered on the same day.

The Lakhimpur district administration appealed to all concerned to make the mega vaccination drive successful with their active participation by adhering to the COVID-19 protocol.
