Membership drive by Simanta Chetana Mancha, Purbattar launched at Dhubri

DHUBRI: Membership drive by Simanta Chetana Mancha, Purbattar was launched from Satrasal border village of Dhubri district recently.

Prior to launching the membership drive, a meeting was held in the auditorium of Sankardev Sishu Niketan at Satrasal of Dhubri district. Coordinator of All India Simanta Chetana Mancha, Pradipan Ji and president of North East Region Simanta Chetana Mancha, Dr. Pratima Neogi graced the occasion and spoke on the need of enrolment of new members and creating awareness among the people living in the border villages.

“It is the first and foremost duty every citizen to safeguard our border while border villagers are real sentinels. If our border is safe then national integration and internal security are safe. So more and more people should be enrolled as members of the Simanta Chetana Mancha during the new membership drive,” they appealed.

Pradipan Ji and Dr. Pratima Neogi inaugurated the membership drive by enrolling the president of Asom Satra Mahasabha, Jitendra Nath Pradhani at Ramrai Kuti Xatra in Satrasal and presented him the certificate of membership to him.
