DIBRUGARH: The Psychological Counseling Cell of Manohari Devi Kanoi Girls' College (MDKG), organized a motivational programme 'SETBACK' for students on Wednesday.

Principal of the college, Dr Nivedita Phukan inaugurated it by speaking a few words on a significant concern of mental health of students in the present pandemic situation. The Vice-Principal, Purnima Chutia, in her speech, emphasized the impact of positive thinking in our life.

Coordinator of IQAC of the college, Dr Utpal Sut, spoke on the need of positive thinking and emotional balance to lead a successful life. Invited resource person, Dr Pranjal Buragohain, Assistant Professor in the department of Education, Dibrugarh University, while speaking on mental health, elaborated on some rigorous mental beliefs, which can lead to mental depression. He also emphasized alternative belief to grow within each individual for better development of self. Earlier, Coordinator of the Psychological Counseling Cell of the college, Dr Rupali Majumder welcomed all including invited resource person.
