Midday Meal workers stage protest in Demow

DEMOW: The All Assam Primary and Upper Primary School Midday Meal Cook and Helper Association blocked NH-37 Road in Demow Chariali on Monday in protest against their various demands. They should various slogans against the Chief Minister. They submitted a memorandum to State Chief Minister through Demow Circle Officer on Monday. In the memorandum they stated that there are 1,18998 cooks and helpers engaged in Assam Primary and Upper Primary School. They demanded salary hike from Rs 1500 to Rs 9600 at the earliest.
