Minister Naba Kumar Doley laid foundation stone of police outpost at Dhakuakhana

LAKHIMPUR: Panchayat and Rural Development Minister Naba Kumar Doley laid the foundation stone of a police outpost building on Tuesday at Marnai-Bebejia under Dhakuakhana LAC. The building will be constructed with a fund of Rs. 11 lakh sanctioned under the 14th Finance Commission. the foundation stone, Naba Kumar Doley stated that the police outpost would contribute to the society with regard to maintaining peace and ensuring security to the people of larger Marnai-Bebejia area. Dhakuakhana SDO Arindam Baruah, Lakhimpur Zila Parishad chairperson Manju Burhagohain, Ghilamora AP president Amiya Chutia, BJP State executive member Basanta Saikia and other dignitaries were present in the event.
