LAKHIMPUR: Minister of Civil Aviation Jyotiraditya M. Scindia will visit Assam and Arunachal Pradesh on April 12 with a day-long programme.

On that day, the minister will arrive at Mohanbari Airport of Dibrugarh at 9:25 am. Then he will go to Pasighat in Arunachal Pradesh. There he will take part in a programme at 10:45 am and flag off the Dornier (Hindustan) Aircraft to connect Airports/Advanced Landing Grounds (ALGS) of Arunachal Pradesh in the presence of Chief Minister Pema Khandu.

Thereafter, the minister will arrive at Lilabari Airport of Lakhimpur district around 1:45 pm and hold a meeting with dignitaries of the Government of Assam. Then he will inaugurate the first Flying Training Organization (FTO) in the Northeast. In the programme, Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma will be present as the chief guest. The Flying Training Organization is set up by Redbird Flight Training Academy, the largest Flight Training Organization in India, under the scheme of Prime Minister Atmanirbhar Bharat. After attending the programme, the minister will leave for Guwahati at 3:30 pm and go back to new Delhi at 6:20 pm.
