Minister Pijush Hazarika takes stock of COVID situation in Udalguri

UDALGURI: Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare, Pijush Hazarika visited Udalguri and took stock of the COVID situation. He was accompanied by MP Dilip Kumar Saikia. The minister interacted with Udalguri Deputy Commissioner Prakash Ranjan Gharphalia, Superintendent of the Udalguri 200-bedded hospital and other officials. He said that the 200-bedded hospital should be converted into a dedicated COVID hospital and laid stress on strict quarantine for people returning from other States.
