Mock drill

JOYSAGAR, June 1: The Indian Army’s Dao Division personnel camping in Joysagar of Sivasagar district conducted a mock drill at the Desangmukh area on Friday. The security personnel with the help of Sivasagar district administration and District Disaster Management officials conducted the mock drill pertaining to rescue of villagers during flood and heavy rain.

For this, the security personnel demonstrated before local villagers various rescue techniques during flood and trained locals as well as civil defence cadets on how to rescue people and cattle from river current.
