Model polling station, photo gallery inaugurated in Bongaigaon

BONGAIGAON: A model polling station under Training Management Cell has been set up in the premises of the Bongaigaon DC office.

The model polling station was inaugurated by Bongaigaon District Election Officer and Deputy Commissioner Dr MS Laxmipriya on Tuesday. In order to create awareness among the electors on the voting process, a photo gallery set up under the SVEEP (Systematic Voters Education and Electoral Participation) cell was also inaugurated by the Deputy Commissioner.

In both the programmes, District Development Commissioner Zaid Chistie, Nadira Jasmine, Chief Executive Officer of Bongaigaon Zila Parishad, Additional Deputy Commissioner Dr. Tahidur Rahman, Election Officer Benu Mushahary, Bongaigaon Circle Officer Dipan Barman , Assistant Commissioners, DC office staff and Jeevika Sakhis under ASRLM were also present.
