GOLAGHAT: Golaghat Commerce College, in association with the district administration, Golaghat, organized a model Y20 Summit as the Y20 pre-event under G20 Summit on Thursday at the conference hall of the college.
In the Model Y20 Summit, a panel discussion on 'Economics of International Mobility and its linkages to development' was held where seven different colleges of the Golaghat district took part. The programme started with the welcome speech of Dr Utpal Sharma, Principal, Golaghat Commerce College, and was inaugurated by Dr Sangeeta Borthakur, ADC (Education) Golaghat.
The participants of the panel discussion were Furkating College, Golaghat Commerce College, Barpathar College, JDSG College, DR College, HPB Girls' College and Golaghat Purvanchalik College. Dr Debashish Baruah, Associate Professor of Furkating College, and Dr Rinki Das, Assistant Professor of Golaghat Commerce College, took part in the discussion as the observer. In the panel discussion, participants raised their views on the topic and a thorough discussion was held on it. Dr Pranjal Pratim Dutta, the coordinator of the event, was also present in the programme.
