Morigaon district administration observed World AIDS Day

MORIGAON: Along with the rest of the country, Morigaon district administration observed World AIDS Day in collaboration with the Joint Director of Health Services office at Morigaon Civil Hospital’s GNM training centre on Sunday in presence of ADC ST Rahman. On the occasion a meeting under the president ship of Dr Jugal Kalita was held. ADC ST Rahman urged people to develop awareness about the causes of AIDS and its prevention. He also asked the ASHA workers to general awareness among the people. The meeting was also attended by Jinti Patgiri who has been fighting this disease with her strong will power.
