Morigaon Zilla Brahman Samaj felicitates 5 meritorious HSLC and HS students

MORIGAON: In a well-attended function, Morigaon Nagar Prathamik Brahman Samaj on Sunday felicitated 5 meritorious students who excelled in the HSLC and HS exams. The felicitation programme was organized at Morigaon Sewa Ashram Aru Atithishala. The programme began with a chorus composed by writer Pradeep Goswami and sung by a group of women of the Sewa Ashram committee. Thereafter, Dr Namrata Kasyap performed a Bargeet song. Earlier, the programme began with the hoisting of the flag by Ruhit Goswami, President, MZPBS, while Vice-President Jatin Sarma offered smriti-tarpan. Besides, Bharat Sarma, V-P, lit the ceremonial lamp in the programme and a group of women of Sewa Ashram committee performed a holy song. The programme was attended by writer Pradeep Goswami, MASS Chief Advisor Bubumoni Goswami, and social worker Pulin Sarma.
