Mother, daughter jump in front of moving train in Barpeta

BARPETA: A woman and her daughter killed themselves by jumping in front of a running train on Friday night.

Kabita Nath (28) and her daughter Himashri Nath (8) of Nuntola village, Sarbhog jumped in front of a moving train due to some domestic problem. Luckily, her 6-month baby was saved. The baby was rescued by the GRF force and later handed over to the family. The husband of Kabita Nath, Raju Nath alias Raja Nath, is absconding.
