Motivational lecture organized on ‘Know your Army’ in Sadiya College at Chhapakhowa

TINSUKIA: Chowkham Battalion of Indian Army organized a motivational lecture on ‘Know your Army’ in Sadiya College at Chhapakhowa on Thursday.

Around 300 students and 20 teachers participated. Major Godara made them understand about the Army and its important role in all spheres. He urged the students to work and study hard in order to realize their dream of joining the Indian Army.

The Chowkham Battalion of ‘Lohit Brigade’ took the responsibility of providing pre-recruitment training to 215 youths of Sadiya subdivision in Tinsukia district for scheduled recruitment rally in Tezpur. The training focused on physical tests as well as the written examination that formed part of the entrance test. A number of mock tests were conducted to prepare the aspiring youths and to give them the requisite confidence of passing all these tests.
