DIBRUGARH: OIL and the Office of the Deputy Commissioner of Tinsukia district, signed an MoU for anti-erosion measures at Dighaltarrang, Tinsukia. The MoU was signed in the presence of Rameswar Teli, Minister of State for the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Government of India and Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India, and Rupesh Gowala, MLA, Doomdooma LAC. The MoU was signed by JPP Das, RCE OIL (Officiating), and Swapneel Paul, Deputy Commissioner, Tinsukia at the DC Office, Tinsukia. OIL will extend necessary financial assistance under OIL CSR to the office of Deputy Commissioner for anti -erosion measures at the Dighaltarrang area from the flood caused by the river Brahmaputra (Ananta nallah).

Rajeev Baruah, ED (HR & Admin), OIL, Arunjyoti Baruah, CGM (HR-Field Admin), OIL, Debashis Bora, GM (PA), OIL, and Monjit Borkakoty, ADC, Tinsukia (PSU) as well as, senior representatives from OIL and the Water Resource Department of the Government of Assam, were also present on occasion.
