Multilingual Poets' Meet held at Bhairabkunda

UDALGURI: A multilingual poets' meet was held at Bhairabkunda to give a message of peace and harmony to the society. The poets' meet was organized to mark the 8th Bhairabkunda Tourism Festival celebration.

In this session, poems were recited by the poets in Sanskrit, Bodo, Assamese, Nepali, English, Hindi and Santhali languages. An anthology of multilingual poems Kavyasetu was also published on that occasion. The book was released by Rudra Baral, the general secretary of Asom Nepali Sahitya Sabha. At the same time, the 8th Bhairabkunda Tourism Festival's souvenir Bhairabkunda was also released by Nabin Malla Boro, renowned Bodo litterateur.

The poets' meet was moderated by Puspadhar Bastola, renowned poet and Principal of Udalguri HS School. The session was chaired by Bhaben Deury, the Inspector of Schools, Udalguri district circle and also distributed certificates to the participants.
