MV Mahabahu tourists to fly back home from Jorhat district

JORHAT: The 22 tourists from various countries like USA, Britain, Germany, and Australia who were kept isolated for seven days near a river chapori in Dainigaon at Neematighat in Jorhat district, will be allowed to leave for their respective destinations by air from Jorhat Airport on Sunday noon while 34 cabin crew members along with the MV Mahabahu, the tourist river vessel, will return to Guwahati on the same day.

All the tourists and crew members were given a clean chit by medical experts from ICMAR-Chabua after their swab tests were conducted.
