NAAC approves Nowgong College as ‘mentor’ institution

NAGAON: National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) has confirmed certain institutions of higher education as ‘mentor’ institutions and Nowgong College is one of them. In an official letter issued by Prof SC Sharma, Director of NAAC, to the Principal of the college, Dr Sarat Borkataki, it has been stated that the college has been bestowed with the responsibility to identify at least 10 non-accredited colleges in the vicinity of Nowgong College. The college has already selected the colleges to assist them to successfully get accredited by NAAC.
