NAAC Peer Team visits Dhing College

NAGAON: A NAAC Peer Team comprising of three eminent academicians led by Dr. Venkata Satyanarayana Murty Karra, Dean, SCSVMV University, Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh as Chairperson, Dr. Mahendra Singh Dhaka, Professor, Department Of Physics, Mohanlal Sukhadia University, Udaipur, Rajasthan as member Coordinator and Dr. Dattatraya Pawar, Principal, Deccan Education Society's Kirti M Doongursee College, Dadar West, Maharashtra as member visited Dhing College on February 2 and February 3 for the third cycle of NAAC assessment.

Some of the activities carried out during the two-day visit were presentations by the Head of the Institution, IQAC, Departments and Committees, inspection of College facilities and sites, interaction with Principal, IQAC, HoDs, teachers, non teaching staff, students, alumni association, and parents.

A cultural programme was organised on February 2 evening in honour of their visit. The visit concluded with an exit meeting chaired by Dr. Biman Hazarika, principal of the College who made the opening remarks and Dr. Venkata Satyanarayana Murty Karra, chairperson of the Peer Team shared some key observations and made suggestions for improvement. Dr Manoj Kumar Saikia, coordinator to internal quality assurance cell welcomed the guests and invitees.

The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks by Muslehul Islam, HoD, Department of English.Dr. Manoj Kr. Saikia, IQAC Coordinator, Dhing College.
