NABARD holds review meet at Tinsukia

TINSUKIA: The NABARD held a review meeting in its office at Tinsukia with various stakeholders on Sunday where Baiju Kurup, the Chief General Manager was present.

While reviewing the on-going schemes pertaining to agriculture and veterinary, Kurup observed with dissatisfaction that the NABARD's special schemes were not made into effect in Tinsukia district.

He called upon all NGOs to prepare schemes and to submit concept papers relevant to the development of Tinsukia district to NABARD. Sankar Das AGM NABARD, Dr Robi Sankar Choudhary district veterinary officer, Hema Kanta Phukan district agriculture officer Dwijen Dutta, director 'RSETHI, Akhil Baruah director Surjudaya besides representatives from AIDA, Paribartan Asom and Annaswan foundation were present and participated in interaction programme among others. The programme was moderated by Barun Biswas, DDM NABARD.
