Naduwar Kishan Morcha organized free eye check-up camp in Jamugurihat

JAMUGURIHAT: A free eye check-up camp organized by Naduwar Kishan Morcha of Sootea LAC was held at the auditorium of Marisuti-Mangalboriya village under Uttar Muradal Gaon Panchayat recently.

A team of eye specialists from ERC Eye Hospital, Tezpur, including Dr. Juli Saikia and Dr. Shantanu Ghosh, attended the camp wherein nearly 200 people attended. They were provided spectacles at a cheap price along with free medicines.

Babul Bora, the president of the organizing committee, said that patients having Aiyushman card could avail the opportunity of free eye operation while patients without the card would have to pay Rs 3,000 for the same.
