Nalbari College to celebrate platinum jubilee on January 21 and 22

NALBARI: "Nalbari college, one of the oldest institutions of higher studies is going to celebrate the platinum jubilee on January 21 and 22, said Dipak Goswami and Dr Kamal Nayan Patowary, the secretary of the Platinum Jubilee celebration committee and the principal of the college respectively in a press meet on Sunday evening.

They informed that the celebration will be launched with flag hoisting on January 21 followed by other programmes. On the same day, a get-together among the former students will be conducted at noon followed by a colourful cultural evening. On January 22, a souvenir will be released. Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma will also participate as the chief guest in the open session on the day. Prof Bhabendra Nath Bhattacharyya, Ananta Rajbongshi, Arup Barpujari and many bearers of the celebration committee were present at the meet.
