Nalbari District Commissioner Varnali Deka holds review meet with Health department

NALBARI: A review meeting of Nalbari District Health Society was held on Thursday under the chairmanship of District Commissioner Varnali Deka, in the DC Office’s conference hall in presence of all concerned officers and staff of the Health Department to discuss various ongoing activities of the sector.

DC Deka reviewed the improvement of Ayushman card under Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana and Mukhya Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana and called for expeditious completion of the work. She also reviewed all the health indicators and directed everyone present to ensure that these remain properly in future too. She analyzed the performance of Intensified Mission Indradhanush 5.0. with emphasis on maternal and child protection and said that ensuring maternal and child well being will have a significant role in realizing the dream of a prosperous and secure society. She directed all health officials to upload the necessary information on the newly added Kobo app in the health department.

Further District Commissioner Varnali Deka requested all present from the health sector and other concerned to make ‘Nikshay Mitra’, a public welfare scheme of the Government of India dedicated to TB patients successful by volunteering adoption of such patients as per their capacity, stated a press release.
