Nalbari Police arrested 64 drug peddlers since May

NALBARI: "Nalbari Police has arrested 64 drug peddlers and registered 37 cases against drugs since May," SP Pabindra Kumar Nath said in a press conference on Friday. Synchronizing all the data he stated that in 13 cases charges sheet have been submitted. During this period 729 grams of brown sugar, 62 kilograms of ganja, 1.12 gram heroin and a huge quantity of tablets and cough syrups has been seized. Cash amounting to Rs 37,000 and many vehicles used by drug peddlers have been found.
