National Boro Christian Council organizes solidarity prayer for Manipur

KOKRAJHAR: People under the banner of National Boro Christian Council (NBCC), the apex body of Boro churches of Assam, gathered in a beautiful Church hall belonging to the NELC, Bongaigaon Mission on Saturday for a solidarity prayer for Manipur.

The prayer programme centered around the theme of peace for Manipur with two placards. Lawrence Islary, the MLA from Kokrajhar East, also participated in the programme. In his speech, MLA Lawrence Islary lauded the leaders of NBCC for coming together to pray for Manipur, which has been going through great suffering. He highlighted the efforts of the Chief Minister of Assam and the CEM of BTC along with the Manipur and Central governments towards bringing back peace and normalcy in the State of Manipur.
