National expo of handloom to be held at Bilasipara of Dhubri district

DHUBRI: It is for the first time that a two-week State Handlooms Expo 2022-23 will be held at Bilasipara of Dhubri district from March 16 at Bilasipara Municipal Field. The expo of handlooms is organized by Assam Government Marketing Corporation Ltd sponsored by Development Commissioner for Handloom, Government of India under the Ministry of Textile, New Delhi.

Talking to The Sentinel, the chairman of the Assam Government Marketing Corporation Ltd, Dr. Ashok Kumar Singhi on Sunday informed about national level expo of handloom at Bilasipara of Dhubri district. He said that the expo will boost and encourage the entrepreneurs of the entire north eastern region and country as well.
