GUWAHATI: The first MoU was signed between NHM, Assam and Narayana Hrudayala Limited, Bangalore. The MoU was signed by Dr. MS Lakshmi Priya, Mission Director, NHM Assam and Dr. Ajay Kohli, Vice President & Business Head, Narayana Health. This MoU will provide a platform to carry out Bone Marrow Transplant in children below 14 years of age from Assam under the Snehasparsha Scheme. The MoU was signed in presence of Ajit Kumar Bellamkonda (Facility Director), Vicky Roy, Pankaj Chamuah, ACS, OSD, NHM Assam, Dr. Ringlikdi Thaosen and Sajin Rahman NHM Assam.

The second MoU was signed by Dr. M S Lakshmi Priya, Mission Director, NHM Assam and Sanjoy Hazarika, Managing Trustee, C-NES. This MoU will operationalize and manage boat clinics in char/riverine areas of Assam. The boat clinics will provide primary healthcare services like health check-ups, routine immunization, ante-natal and post natal checkups, laboratory services and health awareness activities in remote areas, stated a press release.
