National Service Scheme teams of CIT Kokrajhar hold COVID-awareness drives

KOKRAJHAR: Ever since the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, different organizations including the National Service Scheme (NSS) has shouldered tremendous responsibility in reaching every nook and corner of the nation in creating awareness and precautions about the virus.

The NSS volunteers took up an awareness campaign and counselling on the prevention of coronavirus for the mass. Various good and innovative ways and means are being applied to spread the positive message and convince the mass that COVID-19 can be prevented and can be cured. The NSS teams of the Central Institute of Technology, Kokrajhar (CIT) tried their best in all aspects to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Various activities such as awareness messages are circulated through various electronic media platforms.

Several campaigns are being organized among villagers. Banners to create awareness on COVID-19 have been put up in various places. Masks are being distributed to the villagers. All the NSS volunteers, NSS programme officers, NSS programme coordinator, Registrar, CIT, Kokrajhar unitedly with the support from Dipak Kumar, Regional Director, North East Region, Guwahati has tirelessly worked towards the prevention of this ongoing pandemic.
