National Sports Day Celebrated In Morigaon

MORIGAON: Along with the rest of the country, the National Sports Day was celebrated in Morigaon too on Thursday. Nehru Yuba Kendra (NYK), in collaboration with the Jeeban Jeuti Krishak Sangha (JJKS), organized the programme which began with a cleanliness drive near the SBI’s CPS centre in Morigaon town. It was followed by a floral tribute at the portrait of eminent sportsman Dhyan Chand. A meeting under the president ship of Tulsi Deka, president of JJKS. People who attended the meeting witnessed the Prime Minister’s speech on the occasion of the launch of the Fit India Movement, on TV.
