National Unity Day observed at Sadiya
Along with the rest of the country, the National Unity Day was observed at Sadiya on Monday to commemorate the birth anniversary of Iron Man Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.

DOOMDOOMA: Along with the rest of the country, the National Unity Day was observed at Sadiya on Monday to commemorate the birth anniversary of Iron Man Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.
A 'Run for Unity' was organized from Dr Bhupen Hazarika Setu (Dhola -Sadiya Bridge) jointly by Sadiya subdivision administration and police administration, where besides the students of Sadiya subdivision and Doomdooma Revenue Circle, SDO(Civil) i.c, Sadiya ADC Anupam Deka, Superintendent of Police (SP) Puskin Jain, officials and staff of different departments of Sadiya subdivision Army and police personnel took part.
The unity march was flagged off formally by SP Puskin Jain in presence of SDO(Civil) Anupam Deka and the whole programme was anchored by Assistant Commissioner Priyamjyoti Phukan. The unity march was also organised at Doomdooma. The students of Doomdooma Girls' HS School took part in the event.
