National webinar held on the role of newspapers during national crisis of Assam

JAMUGURIHAT: A national webinar on 'The role of news paper during national crisis of Assam (1970-2020) was organized jointly by Axamiya Xahitya Sanmilani and Assam College Librarian's Association on August 15. The webinar began with the title song of Axamiya Sahitya Sanmilani. Dr. Gokul Kumar Das briefed the objectives of Axamiya Xahitya Sanmilani while Madhab Bora; president of Assam College Librarian's Association forwarded the welcome note. Professor Dr. Dilip Bora inaugurated the session while retired IAS officer Laxminath Tamuli focused the topic as an appointed speaker. Many researchers, scholars, college teachers, students and general people have participated in the webinar. Minku Kalita; Chief secretary of Axamiya Sahitya Sanmilani offered vote of thanks while the entire proceedings were carried out by coordinators Dr. Birendra Paul and Dr. Dulal Chandra Das.
