NC Hills Autonomous Council Executive Member Dismisses Media Report as ‘False, Baseless’

Haflong: Executive Member of NC Hills Autonomous Council, Subrata Thaosen dismissed a media report against him as ‘totally false, baseless and politically fabricated’. Thaosen was addressing a press meet held at his office chamber on Thursday following the publication of a news report in a section of media on the basis of a police interrogation report long back. Thaosen said this was a police interrogation report during his arrest long back and this report was also declared invalid in the court.

Answering to a volley of question from media persons, Thaosen said there might be some forces who do not want any development in the district and hence they were busy planting false, baseless and politically fabricated stories to serve their narrow political games. Such people only wanted to create confusion in the minds of people, he said.
