NC Hills Autonomous Council Oath-Taking Ceremony

Haflong: The oathtaking ceremony of newly-elected members of 12th NC Hills Autonomous Council will be held at the Cultural Institute Hall on February 4. AU Choudhury, Commissioner and Secretary to the Government of Assam, Hill Areas Department, on Saturday notified that in pursuance of Rule 24 and Rule 32 of the Assam Autonomous Districts (Constitution of District Council) Rules, 1951, the Governor of Assam had authorized the Deputy Commissioner of Dima Hasao district to preside over the first meeting of the NC Hills Autonomous Council for oath or affirmation and election of the chairman of NCHAC.
