NCC conducts series of events to celebrate Independence Day

BISWANATH CHARIALI: The 5 Assam Battalion NCC, under the aegis of NCC Group HQs (Tezpur), organized and conducted a series of events to celebrate Independence Day. These events were conducted and undertaken as a run-up to the celebration of 75years of Independence.

The activities and events started from August 8, which included video blog competition, poster making competition, cleaning of statues of the freedom fighters and paying homage. Cadets from Chaiduar College, Gohpur took up the task of cleaning, garlanding, and paying homage to the statues of Kanaklata Baruah and Mukunda Kakati in Gohpur Police station on Friday.
