NCHAC CEM Debolal Gorlosa attends bhumi pujan of construction of 4-lane road

HAFLONG: Chief Executive Member, N C Hills Autonomous Council, Debolal Gorlosa attended the bhumi pujan of the construction of 4-lane road from Nrimbanglo-Jatinga Junction- Harangajao section of NH-54 (New NH-27 EW) in Assam under Bharatmala Pariyojana at ‘S’ turn near N Leikul on Wednesday.

CEM Gorlosa was accompanied by chairperson Ranu Langthasa, Executive Member Nojit Hojai, MAC Flaming Rupsi, NHAI PRO Ripa Hojai, PD Kaushal Patel etc. Gorlosa and others joined the bhumi pujan and offered prayers for the success of the project. This was followed by a meeting wherein all the guests were accorded a warm welcome and felicitated with traditional risa.

Speaking on the occasion, CEM Gorlosa appealed to the people of Dima Hasao to extend their support in completing the construction of four-lane road from Nrimbanglo – Jatinga Junction - Harangajao section of NH-54 (New NH-27 EW) in Assam under Bharatmala Pariyojana. He said that this project would definitely give a major boost to all-round development, not only of Dima Hasao but also for neighbouring states.

Project Director Dineshchandra R. Agarwal and Kaushal Patel Infracon Pvt Ltd, while seeking support and blessings from all the people of Dima Hasao, said this project was not of mere four-lane highway, it was the East-West corridor which would connect Porbundar to Silchar.

Answering the questions of the media, Patel said they were very confident to complete the project on time but people should also to be cooperative and not to cause any hindrance in execution of works since the working seasons were very less due to uncertainty of weather and other natural reasons.
