NCHAC EM Samuel Changsan holds discussion on inter-State border issues

HAFLONG: The Executive Member of NC Hills Autonomous Council (NCHAC), Samuel Changsan visited inter-State villages of Dima Hasao and held a discussion with the SDPO Maibang, Khepre Police Outpost in-charge, border village gaon burhas and border area association leaders about the inter-State border issues at Khepre, 110 km from Haflong on Monday.

EM Changsan interacted with shopkeepers and people at Khepre Market where brisk business was going on. EM also inspected the Khepre Medical PHC and appreciated the staff for their sincere and regular duty.

Further, he attended a joint meeting of the four BLCs of Thingvom, Phaiphah, New Moulkon and Thongikro at Thingvom village, wherein all area gaon burhas, mouzadars and party leaders were present. A well deliberated review of ongoing/ in-the-pipeline development works was held. This was followed by distribution of community utensils and microphone set to every village of the area.
