DOOMDOOMA: Nehru Yuva Kendra, Tinsukia organized a 'Sramdan Sibir' at Rupai Siding from February 3 to February 5. As a part of that programme, NCC and NSS groups of Doomdooma College organized a day-long 'Sramdan Sibir' at Doomdooma College on Sunday. The event was inaugurated by IQAC Co-ordinator Dr. Pranjit Shaikia of Doomdooma College. Dr. Rumi Khalen of ANO 63 Assam Girls BN NCC, NSS Programme Officer Dr. Abdul Jalil Chowdhury, Nehru Yuva Kendra, resource person Mukanda Bora, former volunteer Birus Sonwal were present. The camp was attended by about 150 NSS cadres. The camp was held at the college grounds. Besides cleaning the college ground, a bypass was made accessible to the college by the cadets.
